I don't consider it an identity, per se, I don't IDENTIFY as a trans woman, I AM a trans woman. Well, I am a woman, just one that's had to reach womanhood through a less conventional method. But I suppose if we're being technical it is a "gender identity" and so my gender identity is that of a transwoman.
